Quality

Design and Innovation

It is our policy to constantly work on the design of fibre drums to meet  evolving requirements of industries like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and engineering. These developments focus on performance, safety, compliance, and sustainability while enhancing user convenience and product protection.

Some of the innovations of ABC

We work with our customers to develop solutions to solve their packing and transportation requirements.

Quality Management

In ABC, Quality Management involves a structured approach to ensure that our fibre drums meet specified standards for strength, safety, compliance, and reliability. Our fibre drums are designed to meet ISI 7601 (standard for fibre drums) and also meet UN Standard for hazardous material packaging.

Quality Assurance:

Our Quality Assurance (QA) ensures that fibre drums meet regulatory, functional, and customer-specific requirements consistently throughout their lifecycle—from raw material to final delivery. Our QA process is a proactive, systems-oriented function that supports Quality Control (QC) but focuses more on the processes, systems, and compliance frameworks.

Our QA framework consists of the following :

QA ActivityDescriptionResponsibilityFrequency
Vendor QualificationEvaluate and approve raw material suppliersQA + ProcurementAnnually or when onboarding
SOP & Work Instruction ValidationDraft, review, and update SOPs for all stages QA Team Quarterly or on change
Process Design & Control PlanDevelop control charts for critical parameters (e.g., wall thickness, diameter) QA + EngineeringInitial + Periodic

Delivery Services

We provide comprehensive delivery services to ensure our drums reach you on-time and safely. We have our fleet of covered trucks to deliver the drums wherever feasible. Having our own fleet to deliver ensures flexibility and assured delivery. Where we are not able to deliver in our trucks, we work with a wide range of logistics service providers to ship the drums. We can work with any logistics service provider of your choice to ensure seamless delivery management.

Certification

We provide all the support required to obtain UN Certification for transportation of dangerous goods by Sea or Air. We work with Indian Institute of Packaging to submit samples, obtain certificate and affix details on the drum. Let us know your needs and we will ensure they are met.
