Aditya Better Containers Pvt. Ltd., (ABC) was established in 1991 in Pondicherry to manufacure fibre drums. Initially, it started with manufacture of 14 inches and 16 inches drums. Today, ABC is one of the leading manufacturer of Fibre Drums in South India with capacity to manufacture fibre drums in 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 16”, 18”, 20”, 22”, 24” and 28” Dia sizes.
From a 4000 sq ft shed in 1991, it has grown to 10,000 sq ft now. ABC has invested significantly in quality assurance, quality control and innovation in the last 10 years.
ABC has manufactured and supplied more than 10 million drums till date and the journey is continuing.
ABC has long worked with its customers to develop specific solutions to meet their requirements. ABC draws on its 35 years of experience and its wide network of suppliers and contractors to develop custom solutions.
It has lead innovations like ropeless beading on top, stackable bottom profile, rounded edge on lock ring for safety, special drums for explosives industry etc.
ABC is located in Sedarapet Industrial Estate in Pondicherry. Pondicherry is located south of Chennai and is well connected to Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. ABC is located in an established industrial estate with a shed size of appx 10,000 sq ft.
ABC has, over a period of time, developed a network of quality conscious suppliers to meet their requirements. ABC has invested in their processes to ensure their materials meet the quality standards. ABC has also considerably invested in supply chain management to ensure smooth lead time, stocking required quantity and on-time payment to suppliers.
The facility is equipped with incoming air filters, double door access, generator and heater rooms to meet customer requirements. ABC QC lab is equipped with instruments to check Burst strength of paper, coating thickness of steel, drop test of drums, COBB test to check water absorption, Moisture meter to check moisture and to check stacking strength of drums.
ABC operates its own fleet of closed container trucks to ensure safe delivery of drums to its customers.

ABC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. ABC has implemented a robust GMP based quality management system covering all areas of operations. ABC has developed specified standards, SOP’s and STP’s for testing incoming raw materials, in process goods, finished goods, standardization of processes etc.
